On Thursday 12 March 2009 we went to see the Earth Racer at Half Moon Bay. It was the first boat to go around the world in 60 days. It can go through waves and it uses biofuels like fats, oils etc. It had a sniper rifle for protection against pirates. The Earth Racer sleeps up to seven people but it is designed for five. The boat is made of bullet-proof material like a bullet-proof vest. There were cameras inside the boat so the crew could see outside even when it's dark. It had bunk beds and they wrote their names on the walls! RM says the boat weighs 60 tons.
